As you would expect, Ventures operate to the highest standards, with rigorous processes and procedures overseen by both a group of trustees and by CPAS, the Church Pastoral Aid Society.
Ventures are run by CYFA Pathfinders Ventures Limited (CPV), which is both a charity and a company limited by guarantee. CPV is part of CPAS.
Each Venture is run by one or more main leaders, appointed by and accountable to the staff and ultimately the trustees of CPV (This PDF is not currently in the resources list). Main leaders are supported by a team of volunteer leaders and all are subject to the CPV child protection policy, (This PDF is not currently in the resources list) which includes a CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) check and the taking up of appropriate references.
