Child protection is a priority on every Venture, and we follow strict guidelines recommended to us by the Churches' Child Protection Advisory Service (CCPAS).
Child protection is of the utmost importance to Ventures, and our child protection policy reflects guidelines laid down by the Churches' Child Protection Advisory Service, CCPAS. This requires all our volunteers to undergo an Enhanced Disclosure, the highest category of check, from the Criminal Records Bureau. We also take up two written references on every new volunteer, and for every volunteer returning to the same team we ask their church leader to confirm their ongoing suitability for their leadership role.
