Praying

Ventures are fun and serious. Fun: God has given us a fantastic world to enjoy. Serious: they are life-changing. The foundation of all we do is prayer.

'And pray for us, too, that God may open a door for our message, so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ.' (Colossians 4:3)

The work of Ventures is dependent on the support of many people in many different ways, but is underpinned by the prayer of a wide network of people across the UK and beyond. These people may have seen the benefit that a Venture brings to children and young people, or perhaps have been directly involved themselves.

Praying for Ventures in summer 2011

This summer, over 70 Venture holidays will take place giving around 4000 children and young people the opportunity to enjoy an exciting, inspiring and life-changing holiday. Wow!

Pray for God to be at work as the holidays take place:
